Duane Allman - Atlantic Sessions (Men)
Every legend starts somewhere. Duane Allman was born in the deep within FAME studios in Muscle Shoals Alabama. Before he started jamming out to tunes like “Whipping Post” and “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed” Duane Allman was playing sessions for some of the hottest stars at Atlantic Records. When Atlantic executive Jerry Wexler heard Allman’s solo on Wilson Pickett’s cover of “Hey Jude,” he knew he had to have him. Allman played guitar for legends like Aretha Franklin, Otis Rush, Percy Sledge, and Boz Scaggs, and even played some guitar for jazz flautist Herbie Mann! This striking tee celebrates the birth of a legend. The inception of a slide guitar genius. The dawn of the era of Duane Allman. And few eras have ever rocked harder.
