Syd Barrett has accomplished the amazing feat of both being the founding member of Pink Floyd and at the same time an underrated musician in the history of classic rock. A veritable rock genius, he helped launch one of the greatest bands in history intro the stratosphere and beyond with his space-rock, psychedelic tinged tunes. Some of these songs, like “Astronomy Domine,” "See Emily Play," and “Interstellar Overdrive” are amongst the most powerful and beloved in the band’s catalog amongst its fans. His music is often overshadowed by his tragedy – Barrett was an early casualty of acid and was never able to recapture the musical gifts that he was born with – but true Pink Floyd fans and fans of music in general will never forget his contribution. This awesome, trippy tee is a tribute to the original man behind Pink Floyd. Shine on, you crazy diamond.
